I'm the co-founder of three digital health companies, two of which would've been acquired. Patients like Me was acquired by UnitedHealthcare, and that company reached a valuation of over $700 million. Involved Care was acquired by Aetna after a strategic investment, which then scaled to become the Aetna Medicaid app. In that process of building these three companies, I've helped more than three and a half million people use their data to get better healthcare. And I've raised more than $40 million in venture funding from Angels VC and Private Equity.

I'm a published author and two peer reviewed healthcare journals. And my work has been featured in A-List media, including the New York Times, wall Street Journal, wired Fast Company, and more. I serve on two corporate boards. One, a public company called Adapt Health, which is a 4 billion enterprise and Lifespace communities, which does over $500 million in revenue a year. And in 2024 for my work on these boards, I was recognized by board prospects as one of 100 black board members making a difference. I did my undergraduate degree at Wharton at the University of Pennsylvania where I focused on economics and entrepreneurship, and I did my MBA at UCLA Anderson. I'm an entrepreneur in healthcare with two exits. I want to show you how I got there and bring in others who have had similar success to teach you how you can overcome the obstacles. So what's our vision?

Our vision is to democratize access to that business, school level, education and arm entrepreneurs with the tools to scale impact. Our mission is helping entrepreneurs overcome the obstacles in starting and growing a business in healthcare. But here's where we're different from everybody else out there, and that's in our values. The first one is everyone is an entrepreneur. There is an entrepreneur in all of us. We can unleash that inner innovator and OVERLAB teaches you how to do that. Our next value is what I call a miracle mindset. To overcome obstacles, to be an entrepreneur, to start a company, you must believe that you can achieve what others think is impossible. You have to firmly believe that you can achieve the extraordinary, and you also have to believe that in general the rules just don't apply to you.

And now you can understand why this is different. Thinking why this is creating a miracle mindset and why everybody doesn't do this. We're going to show you how to harness or miracle mindset. Next, log the lifestyle. You must document everything that happens along the lifecycle of your company because that data informs your decisions. Most people are not driven by the data that guides good decisions. They're winging it. No, we're going to show you how logging the lifestyle, logging the life cycle is what's going to help you be successful. And lastly, persistence pays off. And it's not just being persistent and not quitting, it's finding things that work that are replicable and investing in those things, automating them because cash is king and you only want to spend money if you have to. Those values, those are the ones that are going to help you overcome the obstacles.

We're going to get deep on how technology is your friend, but can also distract you from doing the things that you need to do to be successful in overcoming regulations. Healthcare is a regulated industry. How can you use regulations as competitive advantage rather than seeing regulations as a burden? Those three are live now. Now what's our ecosystem?
